Meet The Family Behind Huckleberry Hill
Raised in the wide-open landscapes of rural Montana, my husband and I grew up with a deep respect for loyal dogs and purposeful living. That foundation led us to Huckleberry Hill Australian Shepherds—a family-centered breeding program built on integrity, intention, and love. In Spring 2023, inspired by our daughters’ passion for Aussies, we took over Huckleberry Hill with a clear mission: to breed family-friendly Australian Shepherds that reflect the highest standards of health, temperament, and versatility.As an active military family, we value resilience, adaptability, and connection. Our dogs are bred with purpose, raised with intention—ready to thrive in active homes or settle into calm family life. Raised in our home and loved by our children, each puppy leaves us confident, well-socialized, and eager to bond with you.

Fill Out an Application

The journey to bringing home a Huckleberry Hill Australian Shepherd begins with our puppy application. This helps us understand your lifestyle, preferences, and goals so we can thoughtfully match you with a puppy whose temperament aligns with your family.
Phone Interview
​
Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll schedule a phone interview to discuss your lifestyle, preferences, and expectations. This helps us recommend a puppy whose temperament and needs align with your household.
Puppy Match and Deposit
​
At four weeks, each puppy receives a personality assessment. Based on those results, along with your application and interview, we’ll recommend a match. Once confirmed, you’ll place a deposit to reserve your puppy.
Homecoming Prep & Final Payment
​
Before pickup, we’ll send a prep checklist to help you get ready. We’ll walk you through the transition so your puppy arrives ready to thrive—and your family feels confident and supported. Final payment is due at pickup or delivery.
Homecoming & Lifelong Support​​​
Your puppy goes home with health records, AKC paperwork, and a starter kit. We’re here for updates, questions, and lifelong encouragement as your pup grows. Our commitment doesn’t end at pickup—it’s a lifelong connection rooted in care and community.
