My husband and I were both raised in rural Montana, where hard work and caring for animals were part of daily life. That upbringing produced a deep love for the outdoors, character, and the confidence to do hard things. It shaped how we approach everything—from parenting to business—with grit, purpose, and integrity.

​Now, as a military family raising six kids, Huckleberry Hill gives us the chance to pass those lessons on. Breeding and raising Australian Shepherds isn’t just a business—it’s a way to instill character, responsibility, and work ethic in our children. Every pup is part of that process, raised in the thick of family life and shaped by the same values that guide our home.​

We believe in doing things right: raising dogs with sound minds and bodies, placing them with families who value commitment, and building a program that reflects the integrity we were raised with. We produce only two litters a year, allowing us to give each pup the time, attention, and foundation they deserve.
